The "Radio Times" is a weekly guide to TV programming in the UK for BBC TV that's been around since 1923 and would be the equivalent of the "TV Guide" published in the US only in a larger format (it's about half the size of a newspaper rather than the digest size of "TV Guide"). This November 14, 1968 issue features a multi-page Rosebud Mattel insert "Christmas isn't Christmas without Rosebud Mattel" with a crying baby doll.

The good Major was provided a full-page color ad:

"Major Matt Mason Mattel's Man in Space" with images of the Space Station, Space Crawler, Moon Suit and Space Sled. Sgt. Storm shares one of the Station decks seated at the Command Console. There are descriptions beneath many items.

The images lead me to believe that this was a fairly early ad in the availability of MMM in the UK - note that some of the MMM figures have painted cuffs as does Sgt. Storm.
