This ad is a duplicate of both the
Atlantic Thrift Centers Ad in the Corpus Christi Caller Times
AND
Spartan Ad in the Nashville Tennessean from the November 10, 1968, this time published in the San Antonio Light on November 13, 1968. It seems that Spartan and Atlantic are the same stores with different regional names, in San Antonio it appears that stores with either name exist. The ad features a small image of the
Major Matt Mason with Cat Trac (and possibly Sgt. Storm - it's unclear) on sale for $1.39.
