Paul Vreede Image Swap |
One of the wonders of technology is the availability of photo-editing tools like Adobe Photoshop and more recently 3D modeling/rendering tools. MMM fans have been manipulating the Major in various ways, mostly inserting him into vignettes or swapping heads. Here's a few to take a gander at - may of these are designed to be used as Desktop graphics.. As usual, if you would like to contribute, contact me and I'll add your images.

Paul has fun with Photoshop
Paul Vreede improves the cover of the famous Life Magazine. You can compliment Paul about the improved photo here.
Paul and John 1998
I've posted this elsewhere - Paul surprised me one year by taking mine and his head shots, and swapping them on the bodies of two figures (Paul appropriately has a Dutch flag. Of course I had hair back then. You can contact Paul here.
Larry "the Sharkman" Chinn as an Astronaut
I photo-manipulated the pic of Larry (minus Myself) above onto a Sgt Storm body. Of course it doesn't look very good now based on improved tech, but back in the 90's it was a bit of a hit.
Tom Hanks as Major Matt Mason
Years ago I had this wonky animation that moved toys around on the wildtoys page - I placed Tom Hanks on an MMM figure as part of the animation - relevant as Tom had identified Major Matt Mason as a huge inspiration (this was prior to his seeking to produce and star in a feature film).
Should anybody reading this have any similar information, additions or corrections, then we would very much appreciate hearing about them.
