Toys to Make Wishes Come True
These are "wish" days for every little boy and girl and in Santa's pack this year are toys designed to make the wishes of any youngster come true.
Here are some of the toys that will probably be an important part of your child's vocabulary between now and Christmas.
Dancerina - an authentic dancing ballerina doll that may well become the most popular doll of all the major dolls ever made. She toe-dances, pirouettes and executes many classical ballet steps. The secret of Dancerina's performance lies in her magic tiara, by which the child directs her every ballet step.
Hot Wheels - the immensely popular Hot Wheels miniature die-cast car line now has a thrilling new addition, the multi-speed Super-Charger, a power booster that keeps the racing cars going at top speeds, lap after lap. The battery operated Super-Charger is introduced in three kits designed especially for all Hot Wheels cars... the Sprint, Speedway- Freeway and Grand Prix race set.
Super-Eyes - one of the most versatile toys ever conceived is high-powered Super Eyes which can be be easily assembled to make microscopes, observation telescopes and magnifying periscopes. Up to seventeen different optical toys can be created by using all of the various parts of Super-Eyes.
World of Barbie - popular World of Barbie, America's most beloved group of dolls, now has two new members - Talking Ken, a rugged-looking All American guy and "P.J." who wears far-out clothes and is full of all sorts of groovy phrases.
Swingy - a beautiful doll that will be every little girl's dancing companion as she rocks and swings to her own hit tune. This new doll moves to the beat, tossing her fluffy blonde locks as she dances along.
Talking Puzzles - Featuring Spellems, can make twenty different pictures with "matching talk" for many hours of play period. The puzzles have a bat (sic) -hear what is pictured in each puzzle spelled out, recited, then followed by a funny phrase.
See 'n Say - more new additions to the pre-school educational toy line are the "long playing" Super See 'N Say talking toys called Mr. Circus Sans and Sing-A-Long. Each of the new Super See 'N Say toys plays twelve full length circus rhymes or songs.
Peanuts Collection - the famous Charlie Brown joins the world of "kiddies" along with his human and almost-human chums, Lucy and Snoopy. Peanuts Skeddiddlers scurry along on detachable walkers, waving their arms and swinging their heads. Along with the "Peanuts" gang, three famous Walt Disney names have been added to the Skediddler line Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy.
The entire Peanuts gang can be found in the See 'N Say talking storybooks line, in a new book called "Speak Up Charlie Brown," featuring eighteen pages of Peanuts cartoons which the book "reads" at the pull of a string. The gang is also chatting away in the Peanuts See 'N Say talking toy, where Snoopy works as the pointer to pick out any one of eleven sayings.
World of Space - An exciting addition to the "World of Space" is the Uni-Tred, a dynamic lunar transport which can crawl up sheer inclines up 45 degrees. A companion unit is the Space Bubble, which safely transports Major Matt Mason and his aides on lunar expeditions. Radiologist Doug Davis and rocketry expert Jeff Long plus the super-humanoid Callisto have joined the Major in his space explorations. The XRG-1 Reentry Glider has the power to launch Matt Mason into space, flying 100 feet across the sky before banking down for a perfect landing.
Toot Sweet - Presses out whistle candies from tiny Tootsie Roll candies to tweet and eat. This confectionery fun lets a child make his own tasty tweeters in four delicious new flavors - chocolate, butterscotch, grape and strawberry. Santa's helpers will find these toys a good place to start in making out their shopping lists.
