Amaury started this project in 2021 for a specific client - I believe from some of his later posts that the client had to bail on payment (no judgement) but to date only 4-5 of the component modules were realized. This is an extremely ambitious project, to create a modular design Moon Base using modules with a hexagonal footprint (to replicate the hex-platforms of the Space Station).
The modules could be put together into various configurations with pretty much infinite flexibility - the design is exquisite. Each module would incorporate a station platform into both the base and top, to better integrate into existing Mattel designs for Major Matt Mason - removal of the top platform would allow access to the interior for playability. The interiors of each module would have a specific purpose, for the storage and maintenance of gear and vehicles as examples. The project was abruptly halted towards the end of 2021 - perhaps Amaury will revisit at some point? Here's hoping that he will!
