John's Notes

As previously mentioned, I believe the aliens were actually supposed to be giants and that Quasar is actually Capt. Lazer, merged a bit into Scorpio. I like that Denny O'Neil extrapolated the gun feature to make Quasar a gun-slinging sharp-shooter. I also love the way both Matt Mason and Sgt. Storm are rendered by Murphy Anderson - they show a lot of character. Of course the dialog is a bit dated, even by 60's/70's standards. Also the turnaround on the Troggs seemed a bit simplistic, but for an audience of 10 year-olds it probably read as awesome.
