Greetings all. I am 36 years old, and have had contact with several other Matt collectors very close to this age.
I do not so much feel as if I am in a mid life crisis, but rather more like I have come full circle regarding these interests. I had several Matt Mason toys as a child, and have always enjoyed many types of science fiction. In my late teen years, cruising and partying pushed Matt and the like deep into suspended animation for me.
In later years, now married with children, settled, and void of old partying habits, I am greatly enjoying the interests of old, which have always been with me. It has also been great fun indoctrinating my wife and children to the Matt Mason collection. I am Very fortunate to have a wife whom not only tolerates my collecting, but enjoys sharing in it. THE LEPRECHAUN.
Roger was a well remembered member of the Major Matt Mason e-mail group and made regular contributes with his daughter to discussions about toys. He truly found joy and love in collecting Major Matt Mason and will be missed by us all. He is no longer with us and to date is this list's first fatality. Our condolences to his family, who survive him.
