I have no idea...Your guess is probably better than mine...slightly curled at corners, fold creases and a couple small tears. Appears to be slightly discolored in spots. My Take:
I'm really surprised that this set didn't go for more - I missed it completely or would have made a competing bid. Japanese MMM items are exceedingly rare. In Japan Mattel made a Japanese language instruction sheet - the retailer would include it with the sale of the item (sometimes it can be found in a plastic pocket on the back, sometimes it's pasted over the US instruction sheet).
