1967 Proctor & Gamble Promotion

I originally found this ad in the Geneva Times Oct 19, 1967. "Win a kid a Mattel toy." A bit later a letter surfaced on eBay. I believe you could have entered the competition a few ways - I'm not sure if the letter was sent to families who had participated it previous promotions or if it was something you'd receive on request (probably the latter).

"It's A Child's World" Sweepstakes... winners can choose from these Mattel toys!

Major MATT Mason, America's man in space. Comes with his own helmet and space sled. Your boy's imagination will be excited as he directs the actions of this heroic spaceman through the vast universe."

The printed promotion envelope came with a tri-fold pamphlet explaining the promotion and probably a few usable printed coupons (the eBay sale included only the envelope and pamphlet).
