John's Notes:

This is the first published mention I've ever found regarding the super rare Major Matt Mason with XRG-1 Re-entry glider. It supports my theory that the playset was some type of exclusive but it's still unclear if it was exclusive to the R. Farmer store (Magasin R. FARMER) or something else. Since the playset can be found in both an English and an English/French variation it may have been a Canadian exclusive.
