Life Magazine November 15, 1968 Mattel Christmas Ad

Life Magazine November 15, 1968 Mattel Christmas Ad Front Cover
This somewhat interesting issue of Life Magazine was published on November 15, 1968 and features a 6 page (with overleaf from the cover) ad by Mattel, showcasing their offering for the holiday season. About 40% of the top of page 2 shows highlights of the 1968 Major Matt Mason lineup, including Capt. Lazer, Sgt. Storm, the Firebolt Space Cannon, the Astro Trac, the Satellite Locker, plus various items offered the previous season. The ad is somewhat unusual in that the inside front cover was cut large to present an overleaf "Mattel invents a way to make your Christmas toy shopping easier." with a "Christmas Toy Selector" (checklist of Mattel toys).
