I own a few different examples of this figure (which can also be found with an helmeted astronaut head, a gorilla head )see below) or here, with a Callisto head). The body appears to have been cast rather crudely from a Marx Colonel 'Hap' Hazard with a Callisto head replacement, holding the large-guard gun (also from the Hap Hazard set). Note that Callisto was released as
Cripton so this would be a poor-man's knock-off of the figure.

Green and Yellow Versions

The figure can be found molded in various colored plastic with bits of paint, sometimes somewhat outlandishly applied. These first started appearing on eBay in the mid-2000s as memory serves. I've seen a packaged version bagged with a simple header card.

- I haven't paid more than $10 for these and I've seen them offered up many times - they're a strange addition to the collection. As mentioned, the body sculpt is from Marx Colonel 'Hap' Hazard and the head from Mattel's Callisto.
- Here's an image of a bagged ape-headed version - this one comes with gear and has articulation in the arms (from a FB ad).
