Mattel 1968 Sticker Sheet Giveaway (Unused Sheet)

I'm not sure about the precise release date of this sticker sheet - I purchased mine on eBay many years ago - as I recall the seller had 4 of them for sale - they are unused. I'm guessing it's from 1968 as Major Matt Mason only had a "™" (trademark applied) prior to that year and as you can see it bears an "®" (Registration) mark on the sticker.

I believe these were given to retailers to hand out to kids at events, like during live Mattel demonstrations, but they may have been distributed much more broadly. I've only seen a couple show up since the initial appearance and in one instance the sheet was missing some stickers.

These sticker sheets would be fairly easy to reproduce - they're slightly longer than an 8 1/2" x 11" piece of printer paper. In any case, you can copy the image at the top of the page and output to sticker paper yourself, provided you have a color printer or access to one. Have fun with it!
