I'm going to simply list each story by subject and/or name. All the stories for the most part relate to Mattel's Major Matt Mason toyline. There's a separate MMM Image Gallery garnered from various places online or through submission directly to me - I've added names when possible (if you want your info removed let me know, happy to make edits). Also if you'd like to add a story and/or image, please contact John Eaton.
You'll find that some of these stories are very personal and they allow
the reader to submerge themselves in nostalgia and serendipity. Other
submissions are merely comments about the
toy. It's amazing how each new story provokes a flashback sequence
to things un-thought of or half remembered
Most
of these stories were submitted by members of the Major Matt Mason listserv
community around 2001 so when there's an age reference, add the difference (as of 2023, that's 22 years!). A thread was started..."What age are list members, why do you
collect, what did you have/remember, and what does your spouse think
about your collecting?" Newer submissions I've included dates when possible, and I've reordered in alphabetical order by last name followed by submission year.

John's Notes
- Most of the old listserve members have mostly moved to a Major Matt Mason Facebook group.
- When migrating, I left all the old list typos, dates, etc. If you originally contributed and want to change or update, contact me and I'll be happy to comply
- Almost all of the email links are defunct - I've left them as-is from 2001 and many of the domain hosts no longer exist - if you contributed and want them updated or removed, let me know and I'll be happy to make the edits.
- I've arbitrarily added 2001 as the submission date (my listserv email archive only goes back to 2006 so there wasn't a way for me to correlate the dates).
